"........!!" from the passenger compartment. Chauffeur amuses himself, turning several hot laps this day "%@%^@#!!!!" from the passenger compartment.

Ugh. Some days I hate that I have a BMW ZHP with black wheels. During my afternoon errands/cruise I encountered 3 different shitheads. One in a riced out ~2005 Beetle, one in a laughably loud Cobalt SS, and one in a stanced shitbucket of a civic that tried to race at 80mps on the freeway. I just want to go to the store and cruise the coast highway, I do not want to race. Thanks.

This is why I sold my 240SX. Every rear end in a top hat with a Mustang, Civic, or IROC Camaro wanted to race.

I think a visually 100% stock but supercharged V6 Camry would be license-endangering amounts of automotive trolling fun.

# ? Dec 9, 2013 03:51 |

The stock Camry V6 is already 268 HP and healthy torque, and it's not that heavy a car. My family has owned a series of V6 Camrys and Lexus ES's over the past 25ish years, and they can be shockingly fast if the driver uncharacteristically actually pushes the gas pedal. The current model has a solidly sub-6 second 0-60, and that's on generally mediocre stock all-seasons.

I looked up some videos and the only downside would be the rather dispiriting noise it makes but I could probably deal.

Well, that and a chassis and suspension with stiffness comparable to melted cheese. My mother in law had a V6 5-speed Camry and while it definitely had some power, the rest of the car just sucked every ounce of fun out of it.
