Marketing materials and speculation are not spoilers. Jesus Christ.
The first two waves' comics (Megatron, Thundercracker, Trailbreaker, Hoist, Orion Pax and Bumblebee) are also collected in the Dark Prelude trade paperback.

I finally read up through RID and MTMTE volume 5, that was some good poo poo. MTMTE turned into a bit of an exposition-dump near the end, but I'm not sure how much I really care.

I also caved and pre-ordered the Waspinator/Goldfire wave on BBTS because even after shipping it's not that much more than I'd pay in sales tax and gas.

I win Christmas! Spike got me Switch & Go Therizinosaurus which turns into a Roadbuster-esq vehicle!

Also included are a bunch of cool troopbuilder Kreons and a couple of Arms Micron capsule creatures, thanks so much.

I'm still keeping an eye out for a Skids for you. If I see one before I finish my Xmas shopping, I'll send it your way. The racks have been pretty bare lately.

Also, I received my TFSS gifts today! Thanks a bunch whoever you are! I've been eyeballing these guys for a while now.

MP Smokescreen is sexy. I love all the Datsun molds, they look great together. The Lambos were great, the Datsuns are great, if they can keep the car quality up Bumblebee and Wheeljack shoud be impressive.

I am glad you liked them, I went out on Black Friday to specifically get these for the gift exchange and I am just happy you did not have those figures already too. Thundercracker is pretty neat looking and I would have picked one up for myself but the selection was pretty bare bones at that time.

So Hasbro is releasing the first mass produced Alpha Trion figure ever...but it's a Keron Microchanger.

However pretty much everyone else in the wave has had a Generations figure in some form. So maybe a real Generations figure is coming?

The other thing to note is that they have a Kreon Barrage which would be the fifth member of the insecticons that they still have the rights to. It's using Chop Shop's Kreon dude so maybe it will make an appearance in Generations using Chop Shop's Legends figure.

Silly question but can anybody identify this Autobot toy (the blue sports car in the middle)?

Thankfully and mostly because of this thread I have started to get back into Transformers from when I was a kid and started to dig out some of my older toys I have had laying around for from the last 20 years or so.

Yeah you nailed it. The colors on both of them are nice and pop. After fiddling with them for half a day I have discovered the best parts about them:
- Thundercracker's gerwalk mode
- Hoist in alt-mode with robot head shown

How cool is Hoist's gun? I keep getting tempted by it, but that's the only real difference from Trailbreaker.

I know what you mean. Wedge is still one of my favorite transformers, but none of his compatriots are anywhere near as good, they're all blocky and Grimlock has those goofy hook hands. I still love to give other transformers Hightower's pistol though.

It could be cooler. It falls apart easily and doesn't really look like a gun in any sense of the word. Don't have trailbreaker so I can't comment on him.

I agree, the car looks great displayed but he looks pretty bad in his robot mode, looks like a anorexic robot.

Christmas is the worst times for toys, I never know what my wife is going to get me and I have to pass up on all the good deals and hope they are left after the holidays, seeing as my wife forbids me from buying any toys. I just hope Waspinator is still at Walmart for $9 after Christmas.

Edit: Now that I am breaking out a few Transformers I have had in hiding over the years, I realize I need to spend the time and money to track down all the accessories for Devastator, I have the bots, now I need the add ons to form Devastator. I am sure that is not going to take a bit of time and cash to acquire everything I need....

I don't think so, but I'm not alway able to keep on top of things. Isn't Skywarp in the Generations line, a wave of which is in now? They have (or had, this was a month or two back) stealth jet Megatron, Orion Pax and Trailcutter, possibly also a Bumblebee but I just sort of filter them out now.

This is of grave importance, Doctor, is there a reason to think the rest of the line won't show up? I sort of go in and out but if there's a Skywarp I really have to have it.

Honestly, I'm surprised to hear any of the Generations lines have turned up in the UK outside of specialist comic shops or the like. I saw the Skywarp wave (minus Skids) in Orbital Comics in central London on Friday.

And yeah, I just realised that. Orbital comics has some weird in with Hasbro that they get waves just as/before the US gets them. I looked at Scoops and the Minicons but they're not appealing to me. :(

It's amazing to me that one of his modes is a bullet train, allowing for a simple blocky-yet-kibbleless robot mode, and he somehow manages to be both blocky as all hell and at the same time have as much kibble as one of the recently mentioned RiD car brothers.

I especially like how rather than incorporate the nose of the bullet train into the robot mode at all it just splits in half and hangs off his forearms, making it basically impossible for him to ever grab anything.
