Theyre drat near lossless on your machine but the second it touches imgur it gets converted to a jpg with quality setting of 1. A comparable .jpg will still look perfect and retain fine noise on imgur, but pngs get turned to piss

lolll the network approached us because one of our shows has taken a nose dive in quality. of course i've known this for a long time and it's because the EP works in another state and has no idea what's going on and the poor editor is the one doing all the work. anyhow i guess there was a conference call where all the higher ups realized she has no idea what's going on and she's basically paid to do nothing. feels really good

is there a way to extract the i-frames and their timecodes from a video file, using, let's say ffmpeg. other tools are fine as long as they cost nothing. i need it for a project

i know the iframe select works, what i'm less sure about is grabbing the timecodes. i wasn't able to do it when i was trying to do the same thing, but i didnt think of spitting the debug to stdout. let me know if it works because i just ended up guessing the timecode based on the keyframe interval (which was good enough for my purposes)
