Skream is playing at U Street on the 16th and I'm wondering what his sets are like now. Would love to go see a dubstep legend like him but it's not worth it to me if all he spins is disco. Anyone know anything on what he plays at his shows now? Anyone else going to this? edit: seems like the supporting artists have that whole NuDisco feel to them. definitely thinking this is going to be a disco show and not skream spinning midnight request line or one for the heads to remember. hey thread Is there a drum and bass thread as well, or is this it? I like me some Andy C and a lot of the stuff that was played at this year's SunandBass. I guess I'm talking dark, powerful and rolling basslines.. 'techy' melodies are cool and every now and then the ubiquitous hot sounding female vocal. Am I in the right place?

New FaltyDL on Ninja Tune is awesome, greatly helped by the retro Ninja Tune sleeve. The a-side has got some seriously cosmic Broken Beat action going on, breaks to keep the boys happy. The flip is groovy too, proper digital dubby roller, perfect for those long trainrides into work or when you want to feel like your in that bar scene from Blade Runner.

About to go to the RL Grime show at U Street. Lush and Salva are backing him up. Pretty excited to see Grime's mixing skills. Edit: Grime is pretty good at mixing. If you know who Lush is though, she killed it. Spun so much grime, deep dubstep, and finished it off with some really awesome jungle songs.
