Does anyone remember when, exactly, Freep turned on Glenn Beck? I mean, I'm assuming it was a while ago during an ideological purge, but I can't remember the exact time-frame. I just saw a thread where they're tearing into him for siding with GLAAD against Russia's - er,  Glorious Father Putin's anti-gay speech laws. Nothing too quote-worthy in it, but it got me thinking.

It's not really surprising that Christie isn't liked by Freeper types, since he is willing to make a compromise ever and put the wellbeing of his state above politics during hurricane Sandy. Maybe for the best for them, since he's like the avatar of New Jersey and would probably end up punching a baby in anger at some point during a national campaign. Like, I'm not saying Christie is some kind of inhuman monster but IF you were to create a golem from the soils of New Jersey it would surely end up basically indistinguishable from Chris Christie.

There is nothing charismatic about Romney, so I'm not surprised Freepers really dragged their feet on accepting they'd have to vote for him. Christie has enough bluster that I think we'll see the site much more polarized over him as the primary draws near. Purges are going to start early and often
