T. Finninho posted:It's a South American thing, he often has south american footballers at his home, regardless of club. He was very close with Maxi Lopez when he was at Liverpool, he was in his pics all the time. Lucas & Suarez's wives and kids are also very close, they are together like every weekend. Aspas is an outlier but I think it's more because he's probably a bit lonely Please tell me Lucas has a Wanda Nara tattoo.

Honest question, are Spanish and Portuguese mutually comprehensible, or are Zaba and Suarez just exiled to the dunce corner in that pic while everyone else gets down with samba rhythms?

Eau de MacGowan posted:Honest question, are Spanish and Portuguese mutually comprehensible, or are Zaba and Suarez just exiled to the dunce corner in that pic while everyone else gets down with samba rhythms? Anecdotal evidence here: Portuguese Brazilian is pretty easy to understand and the Southern Brazilian accent and way of speaking is even easier and they understand Spanish most of the time. Actual Portuguese is harder to understand at least for me.

euroboy posted:He's most likely been encouraged to do it because it helps them score goals and win points. Pay no mind to whats said in public. I can't remember if he was such a diver at Villa, but they certainly don't discourage it at United. In only 14 appearances, Januzaj became the second-most booked player for simulation in Premier League history.

Javier Hernandez once translated for Anderson in a post match interview, I don't think he actually really speaks Portuguese it just seemed like they could basically understand eachother
