Well I was going to buy some stuff for the Mustang this month so I could drive it again but the dyer just broke WITH all my jeans in the wash.

Dryers are pretty cheap second hand. What can you get for 100 bucks to make your mustang drivable?

I had a washer/dryer set delivered for 200 bucks and they've been going for 5 years now. Go used, people always unload them for fancy new ones.

Pull it apart, find out what broke, and go get it from your local sears appliance repair dept for like 25 bucks.

Or turn the dryer parts into some manner of giant turbo for the Mustang.

DRYER UPDATE: There's a cheap $300 new dryer at Lowes today and my parents are putting in half, so what it would cost me for a used one. Including free delivery. Oh Mustang, you will no escape being fixed. I want to note I own a SN95 that DOES NOT leak any fluids.

Careful saying that, last time I did my unobtainium fuel sender cracked at a braze and the petcock on my radiator broke for no apparent reason. Within the next week. I learned to just let it leak or not leak as it wishes and not tempt fate with ill considered words. (Petcock)

Fun fact, you can use a relay as a buzzer. 86 to +12V, 87a to 85, 30 to ground, have fun with your buzzer.

I had the timer go bad in my old washer a few years ago. It filled the tub with water, then just sat there. Couldn't make it go to the next part of the cycle, so I had a full load of wet, dirty, soapy clothes. I took all of that to the coin laundry around the corner and set about diagnosing the problem. I thought it was a fuse, which was a previous problem, but not this time. The part was like $100 anywhere I looked for it online or at a parts store, so I sucked it up and bought the drat timer. It's still soldiering along at a friend's apartment to this day. I liked that washer, even though it apparently lost the ability to balance a goddamn load and would walk out into the kitchen constantly.

I had a timer go out on a hand me down washer do that, but it was more that it would get stuck on literally any part of the cycle unless you clicked it forward a notch. We were ready to move so I said gently caress it and got a new front load (it owns and plays the most pleasing jingle when my laundry is done)

Our washer has acted weird for a while. It has to be set on 15-minute presoak, otherwise it just shuts off halfway through the cycle; won't even drain.

Most of the US-origin cars in Cayman come from Florida, and Miami is the closest US city by air. So a lot of the locals here assume that "All America is just like Miami", especially when it comes to cars, and that's the standard to which they aspire. Last night I saw a slightly riced Evo IV gettin' a little squirrely around a roundabout... because he was racing his friend in a puke colored SN95 Mustang with three scoops and giant chrome wheels

Just a small product link: http://www.rawbrokerage.com/hardwarerb25/ We are working through some engines and chassis at the shop cataloging the hardware from the factory. We can now sell you 100% of the hardware originally on a RB engine if you are missing anything. More stuff coming soon.

Just another shop update. If you don't like looking at what I look at during the day then scram! The fabrication department is 20lbs. of poo poo in a 5lb. bag for sure. My mobile S13 parts scrap yard. I have a TON of Nissan S-chassis stuff, yet never what I need. This is the last thing I saw today come off my welding table. And here is said table. The shop manager's S10 that has been de-bagged. Static drop is the superior drop. 5.3 swap. The engine is actually in my 'vert but I am still tinkering with it. What a piece of junk, never again! The S30 came back from media blasting and revealed a lot of shoddy patch work. If you buy the dump tubes along with a manifold from us they look like this. Welp that's it for today.

Your shop updates are always really cool, so keep posting them along with the weld porn. Any shots of the Z after blasting but before priming? I assume welding bodywork patches aren't really a difficult concept for you at this point.

# ? Jan 16, 2014 01:14 |

Sorry that's how it arrived. That patch work is all a total loss. We basically have to cut the suspension tower and battery area from another S30 and replace it. Way to go previous owners!
