I think Noisemaster is really sick of the cycle. He's perpetually under the command of Nightmare Knight, and from his perspective there probably isn't a particularly good reason for that. NK is powerful, but he's also failed every single time he's manifested. That could be deliberate--NK helping the heroes makes it seem like he wants the cycle to go as it always does.

The cast didn't seem to be all that surprised by it so I guess talking squids are a thing. But NM seems too small to be a bunnyman or a catman. Is he wearing a helmet like Daft Punk or is that his face? Is he some kinda pygmy electronica cyclops? What the hell is he!?!

Well since he is the size of a cat, maybe he's a cat person.

I dunno there's Grizzlygum and the dream oracle too. Maybe sapience just comes in a lot of flavors in Dreamside so throwing in a tiny cyclops is just no big deal.

He is dubstep given form. A lot of noise and flash, but quite limited in range and standing.
