Can someone summarise what just happened? I'm too busy being in Australia to watch.

Daft Punk won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and made Pharell accept the award on their behalf while they were standing there, never saying a word. They reacted to things he said via pantomime.

Beginning felt weird (was Stevie's mic working?) and a transition into lytd would have been nice, but overall very impressed.

That Grammy performance was a hilarious trainwreck. Out of tune singing, flubbed lines, voices cracking, the cameras continually showing Daft Punk's hands as they pretended they were doing anything besides pantomiming pushing buttons... but hey they have white helmets now, so it was truly a groundbreaking performance.

If they do win (they won't) I hope they take the masks off and give actual speeches cause that's kind of a big deal.

Because every live performance of anything prior to this have been devoid of said fuckups.

I've been trying to find something respectable on youtube...

This one has some weird glitching around the start of Freak Out:

yeah i found this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xI3HIiGtL3k&feature=share has a similar glitch.

But I wish they didn't show the Daft Punk hands this time, at least when they were playing with Kanye they had some sweet looking touchscreens that reacted to their pantomime.
