Brad McQuaid's Everquest Redux isn't doing so well. Given that his last game (Vanguard) just got shut down by Sony yeah, I doubt I'd throw money at this guy either. Basically he mismanaged everything and lied to Microsoft about the progress of the game, at one point ginning up a heavily scripted demo he presented as a finished product. Then when the axe came he literally fled and left some middle managers (who were having an affair with eachother) to gather all the employees in the parking lot and let them know they were fired. Also for the majority of the game's production they had one QA guy. From an Ex Employee: quote:There is only one person on the VR team who writes actual code. i hope it's liquid so every time it's docked and undocked the fluid levels go down a bit. and units built at different times have slightly different coolant that doesn't like to mix so when you take your 6 month old pc round to use with a week old dock it fucks it up. like the zip drive click of death for the modern era.
