Choose Your Own Change is a weird site, but one that's very educational. You will learn the strangest masturbation fantasies ever conceived, and the inanimate stuff is easily the strangest.

It's honestly the most effective way to turn someone off of a transformation fetish there is.

So having gone through both the bug and adult baby episode I can say that the only part of the F Plus that forced me to leave the room in disgust was code-cat's OKCupid profile.

The irredeemable nerd episodes are always the worst ones :v: I can listen to fetishes without flinching but the "discourse on the defense of the waifu movement" has made me recoil since I know one of those pseudo intellectual 4chan regulars in real life.

The sock-transformation story is a perfect example of how you can make something bizarre and unsettling become entertaining with the right bit of commentary and shared detachment. I could never ever listen to that story without all those guys riffing it, and yet with them it's part of one of my most-listened-to episodes.

I personally like the Amy Lee and the Sinead O'Connor episodes. Gives you a nice spectrum of crazy that the FPlus likes to dive into.

I started with Episode 1 and went in order, and I actually ended up giving up part-way into both of these episodes because nothing clicked with me.

The first one I played for someone else was the Roy Orbison episode because it seemed so batshit insane, and I'd actually never heard of the whole thing before.

New episode up, sounds like crazy people are inbound.

In older episode discussion, I feel like the Sinead O'Connor episode just doesn't really go anywhere. It's a short episode anyway, and I think it just doesn't quite work. I don't think there's really enough variety there to carry it, and it's just not disgusting/absurd/nonsensical enough to match up to my favourites.

The Roy Orbison episode is definitely the most pure fun. Like when Uli wraps someone entirely in cling-film and says his catch phrase and everyone goes "yaaay!" with genuine joy.

loving pyramids... They will never stop haunting me.

You see... When they mentioned the patent for a pyramid shaped razor sharpener registered in Czechoslovakia, they touched upon a very disturbing phenomenon that peaked over here in th 90s. There were TV shows about "outsider physicists" and their revolutionary pyramid based contraptions, newspaper articles on the topic were plentiful, throwaway paperback books filled bookshelves, I've even seen / heard about rich weirdos' villas built in the shape of pyramids tuned to protect their health and foster longevity.

There's been a lull in this insanity for some time, and now the memories come flooding back.

It must have been common all over Central-Eastern Europe, since we had a pandemic of Hippie Bullshit in 90s Russia as well. If I hear about one more pyramid shaped Nazi base under the North Pole I swear I'm going to reach for a piece of rebar.

Nah, there are other sides to the many faceted gem that is Hippie Bullshit. You could still easily discuss dumb things like astrology/fortunetelling, or the annoying bullshit of psychics without it being thematically similar to Pyramid Power.

I'd personally like an episode about "Life Coaching" mostly because I encountered that bullshit in real life recently, but I don't want to anger myself further by looking for material that's actually funny, and not infuriating.

Sadly Ted Rall wouldn't work as a podcast subject. You can't just talk about his purple Obama, about the sad blowjob comic he commissioned, about his "autobiographical" snuff porn etc. The art is what ties all the terrible things together.

As much of a poo poo Ted Rall is, Political Cartoonists just don't really work with the format of the podcast that well if you're not familiar with the actual comics generally. The D&D Political Cartoons thread is basically the best way to experience the shitheadedness of Muir, :tinsley:, Rall and the like, since people constantly post their dumb cartoons and supplement it with really good parodies.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that I wouldn't find Rall as funny without his comics and the resulting parodies. I'd just find him really sad and aggravating.

But if someone's making an episode about people who have a fetish for drones, just shove in a Rall piece and it'd feel at home.

Yeah, that's the snuff porn I mentioned. Rall's self insert got insulted a bit, and then proceeded to commit and lovingly describe several murder attempts, frequently whispering to the nearly dead "bully" how much he enjoys seeing him suffer.

Yea but it's a comic book.

And yea, he writes about how this evil bully called him a fag and pushed him, so in return he threw a brick at his skull and, when a shop class machine near gutted him, he just watched hoping he'd die.

So yea, BASICALLY an everyman hero.
