These cops suck at their job.

Any ideas as to what the full text in the last panel says?

I think it says "...But between you and me, I'd invest in a deadbolt! Rumor is, out in the Stillwood, a guy was murdered a couple".

I'm just a bit off my ball game due to being sick. No worries. Also a bottomless coffee deal sounds like the best thing ever.

Cadavre!

I saw the title as "Cadavre Time", and I had no issues with that.

Hurray for Cadavre!

Man, I like this comic but the pace is approaching Ava's Demon-level of glacial plot development

A French skeleton like Cadavre would call Time a "he", not a "she". (I guess it's like pseudo German where every article is just "die" because it's easier than to try to get der/die/das+declensions right).A big flaming stink posted:Man, I like this comic but the pace is approaching Ava's Demon-level of glacial plot development Broodhollow's plot speed is either broodingly slow (most of the time) or extremely fast (climax of a story). I'd say the aim is to make it seem like there's a looming threat that something could unfold suddenly at any moment, but for now it's quiet, too quiet.

I would say that Straub's dramatic timing is just about pitch-perfect so far in this comic

Seems we're in for a week of Cadavre.

Cadavre week! The best week. Because everything's about to go horribly wrong in Broodhollow.

I see. There's no way this is going to end up helping him. Either he forgets enough of it to make it useless by the time he wakes up, or it doesn't make sense outside of dreams.
|
# ? Feb 21, 2014 02:42 |

Alternatively: Those symbols he's writing down are somehow related to the Angleworms, and remembering it will cause them to appear.
|

He's pretty clearly missing the forest for the trees here, I think, especially with Cadavre's hint.

I think he's failing to see the pattern coiling around him. Farewell Zane, we hardly knew ye still doing exactly what i would do

Jesus Christ, Straub I wonder how that pattern is related to the hole dream phenomenon? I wonder who's drawing it?

Wadsworth should know by now that searching dreams for meaning is a hollow pursuit.

If he tries reading into the esoteric for answers, he'll come up empty.

I've been a fan of Kris Straub's work ever since F Chords, and it's insane to see how good he's gotten as an artist. That's an exciting thing about webcomics, even though it is mostly amateur hour, watching someone gradually get better is really awesome.

That's the genesis of this thing. When you have OCD, you know that something horrible is going to happen if you don't do what you need to, even if you know that's not actually the case. But what if it was true
