So the gist of this council post sums up to reputation grind? Looking forward to it if the rewards are sufficient. Little iffy on the Focus stuff, since I'm that guy that never uses long cooldown abilities because I always think to myself "I should of used it here instead" so I just never use it at all.

Just had to solo Caliban (Uranus L15-18 rescue). God awful. Took max range Frost Prime and a Synapse, got to the hostage, proceeded to go through 15-20 big-rear end rooms that all went as follows: - See a mob - Immediately drop Snow Globe - Get teleported by a Commander 3-4 seconds later - Reorient, kill surrounding heavies, kill Commander in snow globe - Move to next room, scavenge energy orbs en route if possible - Repeat Hate Rescue. I actually liked my torid. Haven't used in a while though since I'm chasing mastery ranks. Accel Blast is really great for the fire rate and the absurd amount of piercing type damage it adds. Turns shotguns into grineer murdering machines. I'm not a fan of the reload times for the strun and boar. Tigris is a lot quicker, even with two shot capacity. I've pretty much got every single non prime primary at the moment except for some of the special one time onlys like the Braton Vandal and strun wraith.

If you like it, I guess. I've forma'd my Tigris a few times so that it's pretty drat powerful, just not completely optimal compared to the best guns. I kind of wish Warframe had MGS-style stealth and the hilarious possibilities that MGS games have. Lay down next to a man while holding a torch, and he'll eventually go up in flames? Yes please.

Is there any way to start a new group? There's some rear end in a top hat sitting AFK on Cyath, and the game keeps teaming me up with him, but there's nothing going on in the mission.

You'll have to go Private and invite friends or people out of chat unfortunately. I really wish there was a lobby browser so you could see some basic info (like PING ughh) to choose a game to join or start your own.

Since I was checking for my own reference: Optimal damage type Grineer: Puncture Corpus: Impact Infested: Slash Optimal element Grineer: Corrosive (Electric + Toxin) [for most grunts] or Radiation (Heat + Electric) [for elite units] Corpus: Magnetic (Cold + Electric) Infested: Gas (Heat + Toxin) [for the smaller guys] or Corrosive (Electric + Toxin) [for the Ancients] This is assuming you care exclusively about damage and not effect procs. vv: Yeah, I missed that. I would personally prefer Radiation over Corrosive for pure damage not counting status procs for Grineer, because I'd rather have +75% damage versus Napalms.

How often do Energy Siphon alerts crop up? I've been playing this game on and off for over a year now and don't think I've ever actually seen one. Figured i would've at least seen one I missed on the alerts twitter or something. E: VVVVVV PC over here, but I'm pretty sure the time frame I mentioned precluded PS4 anyway. Pretty much all the goons that ran it on PS4 just used Lapis. PS4 goon clan seems to just not give a poo poo about anything. Hell, I was scoffed at by goons the first time I suggested we even do the CC at all.

The clan score for the event is an average, so unless everyone in the PS4 clan only did 400 runs there is no way you will show up in the leader boards.

It's stuff like this that has really killed my interest when so many updates came and went and they didn't fix really basic stuff like this; there should at least be a "Look for Group" and a "Start a Game" when you click on a node, right now the only thing you can really do is set your ping limit all the way down and hope that the game pulls accurate pings (even at the lowest ping preference I still get tons of games with really bad hosts). And holy poo poo the game has gone for so long with one of the worst HUDs in anything I've played in the past decade, I know that there's one "on the way" but they have been saying that for 8-ish months. They at least could have modified the existing UI in the mean time. But I guess it all really comes down to the fact that they don't have a loving design doc (which they are very proud of apparently  ).

They really should get working on that GUI, new guns are cool and all but if they want to survive in the F2P market the user enjoyment needs to go up, that and a greatly improved new player experience.

Start the mission, check for Jadeleaf/Lilies in the little pond at the beginning, if you find any, finish the mission, if you don't abort and restart. That's how we did it on PC at least, it's loving tedious as hell but it beats doing it the right way, trust me. You only need one person to do the farming and make the Vermillion (100pt) antitoxin so if you're feeling altruistic do it yourself and take 3 other people for the ride, otherwise just piggyback on someone else's antitoxin run. Oh and when you finally get to doing the antitoxin defense mission make sure to bring a full squad and your best gear (a Frost Snow Globing the injector helps a lot but isn't really mandatory). The enemies aren't exactly super high level, but a bunch of unchecked eviscerators/hellions can really gently caress you up anyway, and if you fail the mission the valuable antitoxins are completely lost, so be prepared.

You can't use your primary but you can still rush in and out. Orokin artifacts are such a huge thing in the Warframe universe that having the mission where you go and take them removed feels kinda silly. Fake Edit: oh wait nevermind. It looks like DE wants to get rid of Deception as well. I guess a good replacement for Raid would be to have the artifact in the hands of some randomized miniboss with some special Orokin ability (like Vor has his teleporter and nervos), maybe have more than one per mission, but no more than 2-3 (gently caress Spy missions with 4 terminals).

Raid was too straightforward and inoffensive for DE. You run in, you push button, you run out. If memory serves, they want to replace Rescue missions with an Escort In mission type involving a Lotus drone that hacks multiple locations, instead of the current Escort Out. And considering how often DE breaks pathfinding, the first week after that fucker comes out is going to be ugly.

Quick noob question here: I put together the rhino chassis in the foundry but I can't find where I equip it. When I go to the arsenal menu and highlight my current one (excalibur) it pulls up a menu for different builds. The rhino chassis still says I need 375 plat to unlock. Where do I find what I built?
