Seems like the same kind of style they used for Yoshi's Story and Yoshi's Topsy Turvy. I guess this is what they're rolling with for Yoshi-only games as opposed to the ones where he's escorting baby mario.

I'm all for good artists borrowing and whatever but this 1001 Spikes game, uh, you gotta be loving kidding me. Here's are remake of old school NES 8-bit games that is actually a clone of a game made in like 2003 based on an MSX2 computer game. Great job Nicalis.
