Oh poo poo someone's saying a funny line! HURRY! I've got to interrupt them with a random caller based on the one line the no talent retard working the phones put on the phone bank software! This totally won't destroy the flow at all! HURRY! I need this call on the air NOW NOW NOW!

Oh poo poo he's started to talk, we better babble over him. OK WHAT WAS YOUR POINT SIR?!?! God drat now I've got to talk over him again. HOLY poo poo CALLER HURRY UP AND GET TO YOUR POINT so now I can talk over him again. WOW YOU CALLERS ARE LOSERS *hang up*

At this point it's practically a bit in itself.

I still like the Jimmy "okay go 'head, YOU talk. It's all about you" when the caller can't shut up.

What is with Ron & Fez turning into the game show variety hour? Seriously it's lovely gameshow after gameshow. Is this the direction they REALLY wanted to go?

I gotta admit the beginning of the show with Surfer Ron was hilarious.

I definitely agree with this sentiment. Trying to mine the "best callers on radio" day after day is getting tired. The callers are pretty poo poo now and I don't even finish shows anymore. As soon as I hear "what's in the box?" or "better headlines" I check out.

This show has turned into a real piece of poo poo out of sheer laziness. I rather have Ron take a year then this direction.

Also in studio tomorrow: Ronnie B and Whookid.

I'm kind of wondering how "best callers in radio" became a bit, since the first time I heard it the callers were coming up with uniformly the worst loving jokes possible and frustration was audible in the room, while pretty okay ones were coming from in studio and off the internet. Thought it was a joke! The next day, it happened again. Then, again. It's not a joke, huh.

Back in the WNEW days, the callers were awesome. The hayseeds calling in killed that aspect of the show.

I love when Opie talks about music - incorrectly saying that the Styx, Foreigner, and Don Felder summer tour is a supergroup. It's three separate acts. And I love that he thought Don Felder from the Eagles was Donald Fagen from Steely Dan.

Anybody else think that Opie has a big painkiller issue or is sleeping like 2 hours a night? He locks onto one person in a conversation and he doesn't get any humor unless that person says it. He either steamrolls the laughs or he waits until there's an opening to say what he was planning to say beforehand.

But goddamn, did I love Ron pulling back the curtain. Fez's current downward spiral started because a person from sales yelled at him.

The Opster is smoking the pot again. He may be smoking the pot again. He's seriously thinking of smoking the pot again. Did the Opster mention he may start smoking the pot again? He's been thinking about smoking the pot again but it's so STRONG, man. Yeah! I'm telling you, man, it knocks you right on your loving rear end! It's insane! Also, being a father is hard, man! No one tells you these things! The Opster has had to watch Despicable Me 2 and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 like a million times, man! Snow days are hard. The Opster has to be the babysitter. The Opster. The Opster. The Opster. No one has figured out I can't deal with the fact I'm nearing 50, right? The Opster. The Opster. The Opster. I pretend I'm doing this ironically but really I'm not.

Anyway, that said, today's show was loving fantastic. Goddamn.

I would listen to that show. Opie is fast enough to keep a conversation and Ron is funny enough were it wouldn't be a snore fest. Was Fridays show any good with whookid? I haven't listened to opie and Anthony in like a year...bearable?
