Shawn F's performances made me go back and look up a bunch of the Erock song contest entries. I remember one being set to "Applause" by Lady Gaga, but it isn't in any of the compilation. Anyone else remember this?

Ron and Fez has pretty much dropped off my radar since they moved. No clue why, I liked them, but I've listened maybe twice for 15-20 minutes since then. To me this says maybe the move wasn't as good of an idea accept for the whole Sirius people who don't pay extra can listen to them now.

Fez doesn't talk still, Pepper Hicks doesn't really give a gently caress anymore and somehow lost everything that made him funny, Shelby can be ok at times but has a lot of douche chill moments. Also they play the same game shows pretty much everyday, and unscreened calls for about an hour, where all the callers say the same poo poo they said the last 15 unscreened calls bits.

I'm a long time listener and I'm struggling with Rawdog Ron and Fez. What the gently caress happened to Hicks? He left his balls on the O&A channel or something. Lynne Koplitz was great last week. I really like that they're trying to promote women comics. But most days I can only stomach the first 30 mins and last hour.

Last Friday on R&F where they had Jay Oakerson on and Ron interviewed Earl for the O&A PD job was hilarious. Sure they have "What's in the box?" But I'm still having a great time with the new R&F.

He just cuts off comics and crowbars himself into conversation. I only check out episodes this thread recommends

It's uneven but classic Ron & Fez was the same way. For every classic bit or good roll, there was a Big rear end Simulcast or some terrible nonsense. Shelby stinks on the board and needs on air time more. If I had to guess, I think all the prize stuff is to attract new listeners and that even Ron realizes that Gurian is loving terrible radio. Once they make their own connections in the comedy world, they won't need him anymore.

What is the deal with Ron going completely silent whenever Fez opens his mouth? I know Fez's history with not talking, etc, but lately Ron does it even when Fez throws out a decent line. It seems like they're hanging him out to dry for shits and giggles. Does Ron actually want Fez to contribute to the show? Or does he want him to be the 'standalone fruit'/crying/breakdown guy?

Ron & Fez has been far from great since the move to Rawdog, infact its been one of the laziest radio shows I've heard in awhile. There's obviously something going on behind the scenes, because literally nobody is giving a flying gently caress anymore. There have been a few exceptions, and I have to say I enjoyed yesterdays show a bit; although Fez is insufferable and really needs to leave. I guess the thing that irks me the most is that Ron was all hyped on how this was going to be a completely different show, based off the best comedians, blah blah blah. Its become anything but that, filled with uninspired/unfunny giveaway gameshows and dead air.

last couple of days have been great. the eulogy with melissa coming in and giving Ron poo poo was awesome. Ron is a dickhead for sure and it was great to see someone call him out on is poo poo. God knows the callers don't. Then yesterday, with fezzy trying to get on the stick, making Fez pay for what Melissa did, you can kind of see how Ron acts bit or not. He's just loving evil and when someone steps on him he'll make the other person pay through someone else. Fez can't carry a show and Ron just leaving him out there was gut wrenching. Shelby was on fire though, he seemed to make Ron laugh a lot. I think the last couple of days is what the show needed. I don't mind that they just do 3 hours because shows like yesterday moved by so fast with them just bullshitting. Honestly they throw in a comic the last 45 minutes to an hour or and gameshows once a week, they could turn it around and make it listenable. My problem was caller participation almost 3 times a week, for an hour then like an unmasked midshow and jerry barca for 15 minutes. Dumb.
