Seems like a lot of Barca fans want to live in a fantasyland where the poo poo their club does doesn't have real, local repercussions. In reality the whole league is suffering. Not like they care as they only support the team by watching them on TV across the world. A little perspective would be nice.

lol loving hell. I'd like to see versions of those charts with Champions League and Europa League TV money included. It still baffles me why all the other teams put up with this, there's no league without them. You can understand why Atletico and Valencia might want to keep their position of getting the most crumbs from the big two's table, but the rest of them should just strike or field children against Barca/Real.

The worse thing is that the clubs had the option of fighting the tv deal recently but nothing came of it, they just shrugged their shoulders and let Barca and Madrid keep loving them, it's the weirdest thing.

That sounds too noble, maybe there was such a time that was true. In practice is much like any regulatory body, it has since been populated with people whose allegiances lie really with the teams themselves and not the league as a whole.

Bale was immense today. Well on his way to winning the Ballon d'Or once Ronaldo retires. He's definitely bigger these days, he was pushing the German defenders aside like they were some La Liga pansies. That's another advantage he has over Neymar, who doesn't have anyone to spot him with his weights. I can imagine him early on going every night to the Barca gym to bulk up only to find it completely deserted, and quitting midway through a set because he forgot his ipod. You need someone to encourage and motivate you in the gym, usually someone bigger than you that you can aspire to look like, and Bale has that with Ronaldo, Casillas and the other guys. I bet Bale goes crazy nowadays when he's stuck at home and there's nothing on TV and he just wants to get his sweat on, so he texts Ronaldo who's always up for a session and picks him up in his big rear end sports car and they just go 2 hours easy, probably shirtless cause there's nobody at the gym at night and Ronaldo spots him with his bigger weights that he can't handle yet because he's not swole enough but he's well on his way. drat. Love it.
