Even with a transparent platform causing some level of refraction it seems to me that the artist can't decide if the energy bolts are akin to a tunnel (which doesn't quite visually work given how close Luthor is), or more of a classic 2D starburst pattern. There is definitely something weird with the way his legs are positioned--it almost looks like he's got an extra joint in his thighs or something.

You know this thread is hard up for terrible art when we start nitpicking like it's the Buckley thread. How about some Marvel Mangaverse Ghost Riders?! How do you like re-used art? Well this comic isn't shy about it! The bottom two panels on that second page might even be re-using the head from the first, but this isn't even every example.   Now how about ugly, clashing CG backgrounds and skulls? Everyone likes those.  The Hulk fighting "sexy" poser models that have been traced over? You didn't even know you wanted this.

Though it was asinine in the second FF movie, I've more and more found myself liking when artists depict Galactus as difficult to visualize in tangible terms. It really reinforces his "force of nature" style.

Guillem March just posted on his blog unused pages from Catwoman 03 where Selina figures out Batman secret and goes naked on Wayne's manor courtyard. I like the way March draws but that Selina really creeped me out  Bruce and Alfred's reactions are hilarious though.

This thread is pretty old. But rather than start a new one I think it's time that we split this thread into two new ones. One for the most ~terrible~/awful comic art, maybe even worse than the most feared Liefeld~ and another for the best/greatest art around. For as long as this thread is I don't think we've managed to scrape the beginnings of truely terrible or great art and separating may just be thing to remove having to balance the thread.
