EATIN SHRIMP posted:Last night I stumbled on this chopped and screwed track (Thomas Crown - Art of Noise) so I ended up doing some digging to find the original artist and I guess he's part of Naptown Kings (IN crew) and found his soundcloud. He's got a really good 10 track tape on there that somehow averages like 200 plays per track. Very relaxing production and he's a pretty good rapper with a nice flow. Good shout this, Art of Noise is lovely. The sample in the first few seconds of that track is oddly familiar

The sample reminds me of Curren$y, specifically something that might have been on Cigarette Boats. No clue if it is or not but that's what I always think of.

Ok, this is driving me crazy. There's a new(ish) rap song that I've heard on other peoples' stereos as they go blasting past me. It has a kind of military sounding hook, I don't know how better to describe it. I think I've even heard it through this thread a while ago. It's bugging the poo poo out of me that I can't instantly recognize who it is.

Been busy as poo poo lately but finally got around to listening to Oxymoron. It's pretty good. I had tempered my expectations and was hoping to enjoy at least half of the songs which I did and then some. I guess overall I'd give it a B-. Not much else to say other than thanks for all the loving great music over the past few pages. That Migos tape, tho.
