It looked like we had finally gone with a style of sorts with the sash but it was dropped. Now it looks like a England hand-me-down, especially with the red. No blue is also annoying, seeing how it is a important color for the squad. And as pointed out before, the badge looks amazingly amateur, especially since we just saw the great Centennial jersey badge.

The Dutch are supposed to wear orange shirts. The US are supposed to wear... what are we supposed to wear? Blue kits that look like denim shirts with stars on them? Sashes? Vertical red stripes? Horizontal stripes? A sash? "Basically an England kit"? And that's not even mentioning the badge, which is a complete embarrassment.

The USA should just pick one and stay with it, the one with the red hoops or the blue one with the sash are good options. The problem here is that you don't have a kit identity, the home kit should be stable design-wise and not radically change every year.

The USA lacks a home kit that is definitely their own or something if you saw it you'd think "Yeah, that's the US alright." like you do with Argentina, Brazil and heck, even England. I think USA home kits fall into the trap of trying to fit in both stars and stripes or trying to focus on all three flag colours and it makes for a piss poor design. I think the blue kit with a white sash with little red accents on it is probably the most obviously american design I've seen and it fits with America in so many ways without being stupid as hell: subtle reference to the american war of independence (the sash), striking design with a touch of gaudiness and a unique enough design that it could really be their own.
