Strange - I thought Linda Cardellini was the best thing going last week and that everything was amazing, but this week felt a little flat and she felt like a drain on proceedings.

I have been watching this show since season 1 and and only now I realized they live in LA. I thought the show was set in Chicago.

Is it just me or has there been considerably less laughs this season? I'm starting not to care at all about what's going on with these characters.

Perhaps if this show had a laugh track you would know the appropriate moments in which to laugh. I think the show has gotten much funnier since the beginning. Although the Jess's sister plot is a bit slow, the rest of the season generally has had great pacing and has been pretty comedic. GigaPeon posted:So is Winston just fully autistic now? Is that what they've landed on with him? Winston is quirky, Schmidt is ostentatious, and Nick is generally apathetic and realistic. Jess is a combination of all three. That's usually how it's always been, although with the introduction of Coach, those character traits have become more saturated. I think Winston will calm down if he manages to get a job.

Eh, guess it's just me then. But a laugh track always helps. I don't like having to laugh all willy nilly. What if I miss something some one else says?! It's anarchy!

I, too, know the trials seeing how many envelopes you can stuff in an hour and then seeing if you can do more in the next hour. Worthless sad sack is the turning point.

It seemed like Jess and Abby were going through the same thing they went through last week.

Dealing with your close family's a lot like playing out the same angsty, stupid sitcom stories over and over and over till one of you guys die! e: I've been in a running battle with my younger brother for like 5 years now. In the space of an hour we can go from being best friends to wishing each other death. Y'know, family poo poo. I like that New Girl captures that.

This episode really went crazy with the sex jokes. I mean the second you think about one of the quick throwaway jokes: Jess's sister roleplaying Nick having sex with Schmidt roleplaying as Jess, it is really hosed up Between that and Archer right afterwards those are some of the most explicit sex jokes I've heard on television in a while
