I don't understand what is so bad about manic... it seems like something that is nice to be in the moment, and then when I look at the qualities of what it takes to be a CEO in this world I honestly wonder what the symptoms actually mean... If one could be manic all the time is it a disorder????

(unless you're important enough that you can offload the actual work on a sycophant, but) you have to realize that the good feelings it provides are maybe an illusion. some people never even reach that point and just stay there, woefully unaware of their self-destructive love affair with the spinning lights and the colors and the lovely music. who knows, maybe it's legit for you. who knows, maybe it's legit for everybody and the people who try to treat it are the ones stuck in the illusion. nothing is true and everything is permitted. but you'll never know either way until you honestly try to examine it. not that i mean to doom your exuberance, or anything. it is kind of fun to watch.
