beedeebee posted:Just read somewhere that Italy's new kit (posted about 2 pages back) has special "tape" on "strategic locations" that gives the players micro-massages. Meaning they'll recover faster after the games. It's probably the same crap as in the Adidas tech fit kits. It's just tighter in strategic spots, I highly doubt it does anything.

I won't be happy until every kit looks like a magic eye picture and has qr codes on the rear end so that when players are taking throw-ins anyone watching on tv or in the front rows can get a 10% discount on a tiger bone viagra

IDK.

The nike ones are legit just ankle socks stitched to the inside. Super revolutionary. The adidas one is much the same, except it's an outside lining and goes much higher. Both are dumb, in my opinion.

There's a clear cost-benefit analysis to be made with those. I think they'll be amazing to play with for the four minutes it takes someone to smash your metatarsals into dust

I think they'll be amazing to play with for the four minutes it takes someone to smash your metatarsals into dust This is such a stupid argument. All modern football boots are thin enough that if a tackle is going to break a metatarsal in one boot it's going to break it in any boot.

Jose posted:Adidas have just unveiled these These just look like some (American) football cleats Under Armour has been selling recently, the entire idea of which is that the tighter upper helps keep your ankle stable when making cuts/decreases need for strapping, etc: However, I wouldn't buy them, and this is coming from a person that owns/actually likes a pair of Warrior Skreamers, because for some reason Adidas boots fit weird on me. Also, as to the shin guard question, it wouldn't matter if you wore J Guards like the Lord intended you to
