It doesn't make it any less retarded or ridiculous. That's sort of the entire reason people are calling foul. It's ridiculous and arbitrary given both how the sticks work and what you're already allowed to do comparatively not only with sticks but also with in game options. In a world where you can literally physically move buttons around on your board to get an execution edge, it's got to be amoung the most ridiculous low on the totem pole 'advantage' you could give yourself, particularly as it is a single controller user movement replaced with...a single controller user movement.
