$2500 is a pretty good price on this right? http://fortwayne.craigslist.org/cto/4377118683.html quote:Gray Bmw e30 with 220000 miles with moon roof/ sun roof. Has new suspension parts and new engine parts. It's gray with a couple dings here and their. Perfect car for a project or first car. It's a 5 speed with new clutch with less than 2000 miles on it. It has new sway bars and new shocks and top hats and trailing arm and control arm bushings. It runs strong but needs new oxygen sensor. New spark plugs to. Lots of new parts installed for preventative maintenance and to make it a dependable daily driver.

Handled amazing and gave me a never ending love for them regardless of stupid issues like guibos and switches that only worked occasionally. Wait to find a 325i or something better if you want a BMW of that vintage.

I wonder if that's the guy on r3v who was offering to import them? Tourings have just become legal for import so you'll see a flood because wagon and e30. They're all going to be overpriced as poo poo too. Hell, I can see rust in the first auction picture on that one. Also, "With your bid you are entering a legally binding contract with me that will be fulfilled with no exceptions." Doesn't ebay not work like that anymore?

Crustashio posted:"With your bid you are entering a legally binding contract with me that will be fulfilled with no exceptions." People like to play lawyer in their auction descriptions, but there's also quite a large number of winning bid defaulters it seems. I saw the same Toyota come up like five times in a row after the winning bidders bailed. Not sure that what you type in an ebay item description is legally binding in any way, but I would imagine not.

Sir Tonk posted:Not sure that what you type in an ebay item description is legally binding in any way, but I would imagine not. It's not. eBay's rules are what count, everything else is jibber-jabber. Most auctions are caveat emptor, but they have different allowances for cars and real estate. For example, if you win an auction, get to the car, and determine that it won't pass inspection in your state, you can withdraw. Saved my rear end when I flew to Atlanta to pick up what turned out to be a jacked-up Boxster S that the seller straight up lied about. There's no way it would've pass safety and emmisions in VA, so eBay voided the transaction and made the guy give me the deposit back. It was a huge pain and took months to sort out, though.

That guy with the Minooka Volvo was a pussy, this guy told me it was first come first serve the other day, today apparently it was first appointment to show the car, down the line type of poo poo, if he was gonna just sell it to this guy who seemed like his friend then why the gently caress did he string me along like i might of had a chance to buy it. Also, for being very negotiable on the price, he seemed to want exactly what he posted it for.

Unless you're planning on making a M20 stroker or swapping the engine out entirely there really isn't a point in getting an 86, especially a stripper sedan.
