concerned mom posted:Apparently the change of course was input to the computer by the pilots before they radio'd "good night" which would suggest that they changed course before anything went wrong. The radio was at 1:19, http://in.reuters.com/article/2014/03/17/malaysia-airlines-idINDEEA2G08020140317 After that, the transmissions dropped and the plane was only seen by ground radar. I can't find the time for the sharp turn but that was after transmissions stopped. So it looks like they radio'd before the sharp turn.

What if, the plane was a Transformer, and it needed to go fight Megatron in a desert or jungle somewhere? You know, where only the US army and Shia Le Beouf can get to within 5 minutes travel time. It's pretty obvious Megatron must have killed him/her in the struggle. So RIP plane, gently caress you Megatron.

This theory is flawed because traditionally most flying transformers have been decepticons so there would have been no cause to fight megatron.

At this point the investigation would probably save some 2 years of time if they just "ask" every relevant country whether they happen to have information related to the disappearance.

Jerry S posted:Here is what I think. The pilot had a elaborate flight simulator in his home, computer controlled. I think he programed a flight path into his personal computer, brought it on board the aircraft and later after leaving KL air traffic controlled, plugged in his computer's program and there was a malfunction that caused the rapid accent and decent the abrupt change in course. Maybe he had a hijacking program and it took over the plane controls and flew off to southern Iran or Pakistan.
