I am not sure if I'd call this a teaser since's its for a re-release but I have always been a fan of this one for the Star Wars Special Editions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRgsMKu8oNA

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trailer (and the original teaser with Rooney being embraced by Craig) were better than the movie could've ever possibly been.

Was it self-proclaimed Batman expert Chris Sims at Comic Alliance? He liked the first Burton movie, Mask of The Phantasm and B&R in a Batman movie retrospective he did before The Dark Knight Rises came out.

I really, really loved the teaser for the new Godzilla movie (the one that got leaked and which Warner Bros. surgically removed from the internet). I thought as far as teasers went it was drat near perfect.

I remember going apeshit over The Phantom Menace trailer, especially that short glimpse of Maul igniting his double-bladed lightsaber. I really, really hope they carry on the "tradition" of exclusively using John Williams' score for Episode VII's trailers. Wouldn't really feel appropriately "Star Wars" if they instead went with some Two Steps From Hell nonsense like Abrams did with Star Trek 11.

LOTR had some kick rear end trailer music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dlRvAjU_RI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIrRJ8bCZYQ EDIT: my favorite teaser of all time is probably Cloverfield. You can't do better than this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqQzvfn_s30 It was attached with Transformers I think and it didn't even give you a title. In fact, before the transformer premiere I don't think anyone was talking about this movie at all. It literally came out of nowhere and it was awesome. Happy Noodle Boy posted:LOTR had some kick rear end trailer music. Oh man, Requiem for a Tower (and the song that it was a remix of, Lux Aeterna): The tracks that launched a thousand fan-vids. e: Cloverfield, I think, was a victim of the same syndrome the Star Wars prequels faced, in that their respective trailers were too drat good and as a result produced a insane amount of hype. Of course there are other factors to that hype: the former promised to be the Godzilla of the 2000s while the latter were freaking new Star Wars movies. Cloverfield was the Godzilla of the 2000s, people just don't want to consider that "of the 2000s" means "shot at a personal level, where death is inevitable". It's way better than the Godzilla of the 1990s, that's for sure.

Posted about this in Gen Chat, but I saw/heard of Brick Mansions for the first time tonight by seeing an extended commercial for it on Comedy Central. Apparently it's an American variation of District 13/Banlieue 13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CzcsN4k9FM So besides that, why should you care? Well Paul Walker's in it, and in fact, I think this may have been his last movie (unless the footage he shot for Fast & Furious 7 is still used). RZA's in it too. The movie itself doesn't look too special but I'll still go see it because of Paul Walker. It comes out on April 25th.
