I'm just wondering if Huntress is getting Squad'ed.

Bad episode! But next episode's tagline has to be the new thread title. GET SLADE OR GET SLAYED! Christ, that needs to be a scrolling text smiley with a mini Deathstroke mask trailing after it. Deakul fucked around with this message at 02:04 on Mar 27, 2014 |

Yeah,Lance HAS to know now. Not a bad episode. So, does this set up the Green Arrow / Dark Archer team up to save Thea?

I didn't like last week's episode so much because of raised expectations, and really enjoyed this week due to lowered expectations. Either way, I'm pretty sure next week is gonna kick rear end! Somehow, the show can still surprise me with how quickly it moves. Thea and Ollie's conversation at the end really hinted toward a possible turn for Thea; she already has so many trust issues that when she finds out Ollie and Moira's secret, she's gonna be devastated (and then subsequently trained by Merlyn... I hope!)

Man, I really liked this episode. I feel like Helena's really grown as an actress now that she's just playing unabashed baddie. The phone scene, Gail & Simone... all of it. Although that "Once you let the darkness inside" bit is cheesy as Hell and needs to go.

I've enjoyed both of the previous episodes, but it is a little funny that they do this great, intense episode, "Oliver I will destroy your everything, I will bring ruin down upon your house!" then the next two episodes are Diggle's field trip and the Lance sister's bonding hour.

Considering what the next episode is, their decision makes sense. It probably wouldn't be the best idea to follow up The Promise with Deathstroke.

I didn't mind this week's episode. I thought the Huntress did a good job as a villain and had a believable arc to potentially become an anti-hero. After she gets out of prison. Maybe. I was really glad to see Roy again and I liked what they did with him. Thea seeing through him "cheating" on her was great. Her conversation with Oliver was hilariously meta and I'm really interested in seeing where her arc goes next week. Lance knows Oliver's the Arrow. If he hasn't pieced it together, he's the worst cop ever. He either knows and doesn't care or suspects and is in denial. Laurel was fine. The ADA using her was kind of funny and she actually did stuff on screen. That's about it. The island has gotten a lot less interesting since The Promise, but I was glad to see them start on Oliver's tattoos.

Ughhghghg I really liked what the episode did for Laurel and Sara and even Oliver but did they really have to buttshit slaughter Helena so severely for that to happen? I think my favorite moment of the episode was when literally the entire team was just hanging out in the middle of the bar talking shop like no big deal. I hope that the entire Verdant-going population of the city, much less officer Lance, knows about Ollie's secret and just can't be bothered to deal with it.

"Hey Thea, I need to go over and stand by your brother, his girlfriend, his bodyguard and his assistant. For...reasons. That have nothing to do with why I randomly showed up to your house and threatened that Slade guy."

I know Diggle just got his episode but did he have to drop into the background again so quickly? I think he had like...one line? He used to be a really important character and it's not like he's been outmoded by all the others or anything, he held his own pretty well against Sara in the clock king episode- so I don't get why he's being ignored so much in the main plot. Ollie's a dick to Roy and all that Roy/Thea melodrama can go to hell. Huntress episodes have a tendency to be terrible and I have to say this was pretty lacking as well after the past 4-5 episodes. Next week's looks kickass though, can't wait to be slayed.

I think the writers are kind of stuck on how to use Diggle. Felicity takes care of the IT stuff and Roy and Sarah can keep up with Ollie but Diggle's been left behind for months. They should really have him either track down H.I.V.E. in his spare time or do adventure stuff with the Suicide Squad or using his specialist training to help Ollie out directly in the field. At the minute, he just appears in the background at home standing around looking bored.

Someone else already suggested it, but with Thea's story taking center stage I'd put good money on Barrowman(!) making a return in an episode or two. I'm just happy to see Willa Holland get something to work with, she's been doing yeoman's work for nearly two years now.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lance still doesn't know Ollie = Arrow, Laurel didn't even figure out Black Canary when it's just an eyemask separating her from Sara.

I thought it was funny that Thea told Oliver that he was "the only one who doesn't keep secrets" from her, when pretty much all she did in the first season was tell him "Oliver you have so many secrets why aren't you telling me everything!"
