Yeah shih tzu's are hardy little feckers - Daisy's predecessor Sam was twelve when he had to be put to sleep and he had a crappy heart after surviving parvo as a young dog. Daisy only started to show symptoms of her massive heart murmur in the last 6 months or so and then it's just a nasty cough when she over-exerts herself.
