Have they ever shown someone sit down and take a poo poo from start to finish on TV? The Americans did and now I want to see more. It even showed him getting his rear end wiped by his guard since his hands were bound.

e: I don't mean that I'm fetishizing this. It was really fascinating because it was one of the most uncomfortable things I've ever seen in a drama. I was waiting for the scene to cut away but it never did.

I just timed that part (for science reasons) and it -- from cheek making contact with the seat to the final wipe -- is literally only 60 seconds.

Cool is this the part of the thread where we spend the next 3 pages talking about how long it is normal to take a poo poo?

Here's Community's GI Joe PSA joke scene from their upcoming animated episode, which will make me happy except for the endless bitching and criminal overuse of the phrase "up his/it's own rear end" on the internet following it.

When did that come on? I checked over to see if Community was on at 8 and my program guide showed two reruns of Hollywood Game Night.
And yeah, they probably made the wise decision not to put on new episodes of their shows to compete with bassitball.

Yep. It was actually pretty light hearted for the first 1 - 1.5 seasons, then it's like they fired all the writers and replaced them with people that hate every character.

Well I was wondering why later on the show stopped having all the Bravermans have ~happy family moments~ at the end of each episode. I should really catch up though, it is just a solid show through and through but probably not the typical internet nerd fare to sperg out about.

Brutally depressing in the fact that everyone is punished for being happy for the most part, nothing else really.

The Sopranos had a guy die while he was taking a poo poo but I can't remember if they showed him sit down on the toilet and all that or if the scene just cut to him mid-poo poo.

Of course, I'm not entirely sure what's kept the main series on the air so long either.

Bad things happen to the Bravermans, but everyone's sort of happy anyway.

Except Ray Romano.

(edit: I'm still like 2 episodes behind but I still expect this Joel/Julia thing to work itself out before the season's done)

I'm also two episodes behind and this plot is just the dumbest thing they've done.

It would've worked more if they didn't paint Joel/Julia as the perfect couple for five or six seasons. But then job-related stress happens and Joel just can't stand Julia doing anything. Like he didn't have enough stress being a mostly stay-at-home-dad for all of their daughter's life. But suddenly he can't handle anything or forgive any tresspasses of Julia's and it's been really disorienting.

Actually it's rather good but anything beyond 13 episodes would've dragged it down. One and done is fine with me, since it's on track to end on a high note.

Also regular OUAT is back on track after a relatively crappy season 2.
