I think James Marsden would make a pretty great Matt Murdock, especially one prone to quipping. He's only two years younger than Hall, though.

(Seriously, I really hate how Gotham has gone from what was described as Gotham Central the series to Smallville but with Batman)

Another thing that would actually be interesting. A Gotham with all the characters where Batman never existed and Gordon just has to deal with it.

This week's AoS had Deathlock again and while he looked like the picture in the thread they also showed him through backscatter X-rays where he looked like the comic version.

It would be hilarious if they show Gordon being instrumental to the creation of all the rogues and not Batman. In the end Batman has to come in and clean up Gordon's poo poo.

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but when (episode-wise) does Captain America 2 fit in to Agents of Shield? Haven't seen either yet, and I'd prefer to avoid spoilers.

I believe next week's indirectly ties into it and takes place during the fallout. So don't watch it until you see the movie.

This week is basically a lead in into the events of TWS (i.e. a character gets reassigned to a location where he will be in the movie) and next week's episode is going to deal with the aftermath of the events of TWS, and it will probably be a hell of a lot better than the Thor 2 episode.

Yeah, as I understand the order of events:
This week's episode starts
Agent sitwell is sent to the lemurian star, the ship from the beginning of TWS.
Later on Simmons mentions everyone running to the situation room concurrent with poo poo getting real in TWS
The events of TWS play out. End of movie?
Next week's episode goes here?

"Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth."
Easily the best episode of SHIELD to date and lovely as Voltron-chest Deathlok looked initially, X-Ray Deathlok might be the best realized comic book character to date (for half a second of screen time).

Ah yes, the "brief glimpse of something that would be cool to make you tolerate the fact that nothing is actually cool" strategy. Smallville perfected that one.

I disagree. That faceplate is kind of the defining physical characteristic of the character, it just doesn't seem right without it.
