They tested multiple cats, but it didn't work very well because the cats wouldn't behave as they wanted.

Hello I have new Mr. Carson pictures

He is very silly and likes to squiggle around on the bed to get comfortable.

Also here's the final addition to my cat bro squad. His name is Professor, and he does literally nothing all day long. He's either sleeping or moving to a new spot to sleep.

Front paw not fully tucked in, 8/10

Boop (he does not like nose boops or anything that doesn't involve sleeping)

No, no he's not. He moves just enough to be in the beam but not the far edge.

Misty was the reverse of the sunbeam chaser out on our back porch because direct sunlight in the Australian sun was too much for her dark fur, but the dark stone brick ground would absorb heat really well and stay super warm, so she'd actually lie on the hot stone in the shade and then the sun would encroach on her and she'd have to move to catch up with the shadebeam.
