Also, while it certainly sounds a lot like Mr. Producer doesn't exist, he does have an engineer that I think manages the grunt work of bumping into and out of breaks. A month or so ago he got really confused by Daft Punk's Get Lucky bumping him in, and had a really really stupid conversation with the engineer about it. Levin is a total loon, but he's also lazy as gently caress. Managing satellite feeds and levels and stuff is actual work that might take some technical training. So that's out of the question. I also think that engineer he calls Mr. Producer might also double as a call screener. Levin only ever takes a handful of calls, and he's said in the past he only has like 5 or 6 lines. He definitely works the sound effects board himself, though. The way he says, "Cut 1! Go!" so fast kind of proves that since there's no way an actual human being would be able to react that fast and that accurately. He also has a pathological preoccupation with the way people speak which is hilarious because most of the time he's criticizing some kind of regional accent. Because he lives in his own bubble bunker world he doesn't realize that he also has a regional accent with just as many weird quirks. "Constichu--shon","Strenth", etc. There was a funny moment a few months back when he said, "I've been this same way since I was a teenager!" as if having the same style of interaction as a shithead teenager was a badge of honor to be worn proudly. My grandparents did not attend my aunt's same sex wedding because they disapproved but they voted in favor of it being legal.
