so which race is the most different in-game compared to their lore? like how wood elves are supposed to be cannibals but are actually giant hobbits with the dropsy

also is there any race more boring than the nords?

bretons in lore are like half-elves, and in-game are friar tucks and get less lines than loving redguards

Argonians.

All the lore about them just amounts to "these guys are so fuckin weird you don't even know" but in game they're just chill lizard dudes

none of the races have been accurately represented in any of the games according to the lore

well maybe redguards in the redguard game but i havent played it so i don't know

Morrowind did pretty well for the Dunmer.

And Daggerfall for the Bretons but their lore is just "we're the generic fantasy humans" so I guess that's no achievement.

i have a huge load order but here's the coolest item i've found in skyre:

edit: it's not just shock damage, it's a small aoe lightning blast

I have 2 because i cast dupe on it which costs 3x the item's cost but duplicates it

i also have unenchant artifacts and other stuff so i was running around w/ 2 dawnbreakers for a while

the morrowloot boots of blinding speed are hilarious, they make you fast but constant gently caress your screen up. i gave them to lydia and she ran around at mach 5 and it STILL made my screen gently caress up

Ancient Greek philosophers were the first who used the concept of "Atom" as the building block of all matter. It means indivisible, so it's safe to say that poo poo will go down if you divide it.

Dwarfs make robots and elfs got a moonbase

One way of making Fantasy settings interesting is splicing in some ostensibly sci fi poo poo

I would rather eat a goddamn bullet than see another loving middle earth rehash. That's one thing final fantasy's always had right.

the dwarves are elves tho and they're similarly sized to regular ppl judging by the dwemer ghost you see in morrowind (may have been a technical restriction)

but yeah youre right

iirc it's known in the setting that the dwemer were the same height as other races, and the name "Dwarf" was a translation of a word they used for themselves that no one else really understood

I thought it was the kHajiit who went to the moon
