Are you all charging hourly for this? The amount of rust repair is ridiculous for something so common.

The problem is that the guy owns this car and already has a tag on it. He wants THIS ONE fixed. And no, of course we are losing our rear end on this.

Didn't you spend a bunch of time/money getting it solid? At least you would know all of the problems compared to a different 2k car

I'm not buying another car with this money, I am putting it towards getting the Mustang solid so I can drive it. The S13 runs GREAT might I add. Real proud of it.

Swapping the worn clutch in the 'ol Forester. Wondering if an aluminum flywheel is worth it or not. Plan on autocrossing when I get a chance. (Plan on leaving everything else stock other than summer tires.)

I ask because the one in the exedy kit only lasted my friend 1 year before it got really noisy. Also I love lightweight flywheels in cars. Makes them so much more fun to drive hard.

I will be replacing everything from the rear main seal back. Ordered an Exedy Stage 1 clutch. The rest is TBD.

After much thinking I have decided to take advantage of my new clutch equipped cars and teach my gf how to drive manual trans and let her borrow the Forester and I'll drive the 'vert. I want to focus on my own problems for a while (for once). Anyway, the Mustang hitting the track again? More likely than you'd think!

The "new" firewall is hanging out waiting to be patched. Not perfect, but it's all here. Now about that battery tray rot... Finally here it is after I brazed some rust holes shut and filled the gaps around the plates. I put some rust treatment stuff that turns rust black, I'll report my findings on if it works or not.

Honestly I'm actually impressed, someone looked at the damaged section, looked at the sink and saw the match, that's legitimately impressive spacial awareness.
