I'd love to see a budget sheet for WCW back in those days. I'm no expert but there looks to be a solid grand of pyro in that .gif alone.

I'm also not an expert but I think that's easily way more than $1,000 worth. They spend like a million dollars on pyro for Wrestlemania. There's like a minute straight of constant pyro of different kinds in that gif.

Yeah, WCW was nuts. I just watched one of those Legends of Wrestling shows about the NWO on the Network, and Nash tells the story that WCW was so dumb with money that when WWF started advertising what would eventually be Fake Diesel and Fake Razor Ramon showing up, they panicked and thought it was real, and offered Nash and Hall an extra 400 grand to sign contracts they'd already signed. WCW was not good with money.

I will admit I have a lingering respect for Nash for treating the company like he was the captain of a sinking ship that he didn't own or care about.

I disagree -- I think the best is that by the time they actually say "Kevin Nash", the camera man has moved up the ramp to capture Scott Hall walking out.

Yes, he was clearly supposed to get hit by the heel on the way up for the powerbomb. The finish was Dixie Carter in drag pushing Bubba off the stage and through a table.
