No, he actually is drawing these. We never actually had hard evidence that Jackelrod was composing the strip out of clipart, but I count this as pretty good proof. We'll have to wait and see if there's ever any more than one angle for Sassy the Dog Comix.

No, we did have evidence. Someone posted the original strip from a story arc that first ran 30 years ago and it was the same thing except the panels were resized and background details were edited out. Plus everytime a squirrel close up panel appeared it was one of 10 different clip arts that kept getting reused.

My favorite were those bad guys (well, bad guy and bad gal) that got chased up a tree by a bear and suddenly de-aged 20 years because Jackelrod didn't have any suitable clip art of adults climbing trees so he just said "gently caress it" and used a couple kids instead.

Those might have been the ones I posted. Basically the new strips were a reuse of a story that last run in 1994, but with some name and dialogue changes and re-arranged panels. They did end up rewriting the ending of that story though. I do have a couple of examples from that run.
