I feel like Sunny's low spots are just individual episodes rather than whole seasons. I don't ever have the urge to rewatch Frank's Brother or The Gang Gets a New Member, but the same is definitely not true of the seasons those episodes came from.

I would even say there are no bad episodes of Sunny, just bad parts of episodes. Like I've never watched one and thought "well that sucked", and I've thought that about at least one episode of every other sitcom ever.

precision posted:I would even say there are no bad episodes of Sunny, just bad parts of episodes. I think part of that is the way the show isn't afraid to mix and match the characters into different pairings and trios. It helps keep the show feeling really fresh. There's also the use of recurring characters. They seem to use them really well to help keep the dynamic between the Gang interesting without overusing them like a lot of shows do. In the end when an episode of another sitcom is mediocre it can feel like the same episode you've seen dozens of times but even if an episode of Always Sunny isn't great it probably stands out just for some unique character pairing where you get interested because its a Charlie/Dee episode or a Rickety Cricket or Waitress one or maybe one with both of them.

And then you have brilliant episodes like The Gang Recycles Their Trash, where they take notable scenes from throughout their run, but mix up the characters that are there a little, giving you brilliant variations of the original.

Nolife, a cable tv channel about video games and japan related stuff (J-music and anime, etc...) has to air music from French artists because they are classified as a music channel, and music channels must have at least 40% of their programming be from French artists, or something to that effect.
