I think Smith for Manuel is a wash simply because I don't see Manuel having the ability to hold up healthy for multiple seasons or even a whole season and a playoff game or two if somehow the Bills pull their heads out their rear end. They won't With Manuel, yes you are gambling on youth and potential but you are also gambling on a guy who had 3 knee injuries in one season. Even Mike Vick is slightly more durable than that.
