At some point in the 90's I watched a...um...thing. It may have been a movie or a TV miniseries, I don't remember, but it was aired on TV. It was animated (pretty sure it was very anime style) and was about aliens that looked like humans that were infiltrating Earth. They had a moon base that was visited near the end. There was a teenager-ish (might have been early 20's but he was young) guy that thought he was human but was one of the aliens and also a genetic member of a really old royal line or something. He had this grey glove that identified people of that particular genealogy and let them use it. If it didn't detect the right genes it would mangle your hand, which happened to some guy later on. I don't remember if it was good or bad or much about it other than that. I feel like it was called something similar to Battleground America but Google has turned up nothing and I may be very, very wrong about the name. And one more little detail; aliens talk to each other and identified each other by this weird eye thing they did. They'd say "I greet you" and their eye would so this weird thing. The other guy would say "and I return your greeting" and then do the same thing.

Trying to remember a movie, it was a skiing-centric comedy (so from the 80s or maybe early 90s). The protagonists have an rear end in a top hat boss that they prank a bunch of times, in one scene they trick him into thinking he's growing (the boss is an angry short guy) by moving him into a tiny room while he's sleeping, and at the end of the movie they put his cabin on skis and push it down the mountain. The movie may have contained a lot of gratuitous nudity, but I might be confusing it with another skiing movie. It's not Aspen Extreme, and it's not the one where the main character does a Yoda impression to hit on a girl (I can't remember the name of that one either).

Saw this when I was in China around 5 years ago, no idea when it was actually made though. Aliens kidnap (kill?) a bunch of guys and then assume their form. They then try to impregnate the wives of the guys since their species is dying out or something. One of the women ends up having a baby but it's still born and bizarre looking; they take the baby away and dispose of it before she gets a good look. The aliens freak out and die when they get wet (I think they're electricity based or something?). There's a scene where a few of them go boating and one of them falls in. He ends up dying when none of the other disguised aliens are willing to rescue him and his wife gets mad at all of them for not doing anything. The aliens also get sick when they drink alcohol. The movie ends when their cover gets blown somehow but one of the aliens manages to successfully impregnate a woman and the baby is born alive. I think it ends with the camera focusing on the baby and its eyes glow or something.

This is going to be short on accurate details since I only saw one scene about 15+ years ago and instantly turned it off in horror. Guy on horseback gets hit with an arrow in the face. Rolls/falls off his horse, comes up with the arrow sticking out of his eye. Tugs on it, and the arrow comes out, with his eyeball stuck on the arrow. It might have been a samurai film or something like that. Maybe even a TV serial.

Here's one that's been on my mind lately. My family rented this movie about five to eight years ago. The protagonist is an older father who is secretly a serial killer. He coaches this young man on killing too, how to pick your mark and stalk them until it's time- the kid is really excited about killing, reminded me of a salivating dog about to get a treat. Anyway the end of the movie is a nightmare the father has about his teenaged daughter stabbing him in the eye with a pair of scissors- his secret dark fear is that his daughter will turn out a murderin' bastard like him.

So I think about this movie every time a new sci-fi alien movie comes out, but can't remember the title. It bugs the hell out of me. Saw a few years ago, either on Netflix or YouTube. It had good production value, but I don't think it was produced by a big studio. It was definitely made in the last ten years. Anyway, it takes place on a desert planet (aka, American South West). Prison transport ship lands (I think they had a malfunction). On board are 2-3 guards and a very dangerous being, last of his species, going to pay for his people's crime. Of course, he escapes and starts fighting the guards guerrilla style. The guards are wearing full armor, prisoner wearing some sort of head covering. He eventually kills one and steals the guard's armor. Twist! The prisoner is a human, the guards are aliens. Anyway, lot of cat and mouse, reinforcements come, don't remember exactly what happens at the end. Definitely has a lot of Riddick influence. Searching for "alien world prisoner" never leads to anything. Don't remember any bits of the title or actors. Thanks!

One of the early posts reminded me of a film that I've been trying to remember since reading his post. High school horror/thriller with a body-snatcher type deal, except they implant the bugs through their eyes. I remember one scene specifically with a bunch of kids queueing up for "eye tests" I think, at the behest of some of the turned teachers. Turns out its (obviously) a ploy to implant more of these aliens. I think it ends with some showdown with the queen/mother alien. Not sure how it resolves, whether they defeat them or not. Must have been an early nineties film, remember it having a very "Clueless meets Body Snatchers" feel to the film.

I'm looking for the name of a ~I think~ late 90's sci-fi movie. A crew is send to investigate an unknown spaceship that is drifting in space, presumably of alien origin. It quickly turns out that the deserted ship isn't alien at all but a human ship from a few decades in the future that travelled back in time somehow. I think they then try to find out why or how to prevent that from happening or something. It's not Lost in Space, or Event Horizon.

Here's one that's probably easy. Saw an old movie on TCM a couple of years ago, was one of those really over-the-top musicals from the golden era of musicals, extremely campy. Included a singing stint with a white guy or four, singing in a giant cauldron about to get cooked by natives, who were probably whites with black paint. And IIRC, the guy was singing either in this number or another, or maybe all of them, in a really irritating parody of Sarah Vaughn's style. Maybe not aimed at Sarah but at the general style.

This is going to be a terrible post because I don't remember the movie clearly. I watched it on XBL in 2008 or 2009. It was an ultra low budget thriller. It had a guy who gets a phone call that his sister has been kidnapped, and he has to go somewhere -- can't remember if he had to pay a ransom or just show up. The vast majority of the movie is him just walking or running through the city to get to his destination, if I remember correctly, just him going through the city and a camera following him. And I think he is killed at the end? He may also have been Asian or Indian, I think kind of chubby, and I think the movie was set in a south-western Asian city. Sorry I'm so light and sketchy on the details, I was drunk when I saw it and don't remember much.

It was more in the Dogme 95 style, though I doubt it was explicitly part of that movement. The type of movie that's shot for $20,000 with a borrowed camera. Appreciate the guess all the same.

The weird thing about that movie is they managed to make a really gross and creepy scene about pulling a corpse out of a well into slapstick comedy and then immediately transitioned it into a pretty hilarious unexpected thing.

I'm looking for the name of I think it was a French movie made in the 2000s. I seem to recall it being stylistically very similar to Brotherhood of the Wolf, e.g. lots of crappy CGI and weird kung fu poo poo in the 1800s. I don't remember much about it other than it being a very stylized action noir-ish murder mystery featuring a killer in a mask that looked a lot like this: It served as the big image on the front cover of the DVD.
