Man gently caress the haters, Ricky Proehl would've looked at both Lee and Benjamin and given his reccomendation, dude polished Ginn into a one year vet minimum turd into someone Arizona threw big three year money at he can help a dude with minor dropsies. Benjamin gonna look real good catching Cam's excited passes.

I know but years of Colbert/Jarret/Edwards/Lafell have made us awful bitter. Once I see Benjamin in two years i'll be excited. Proehl is a drat good coach, but draft night is not the night be rational. It's the night to drink extremely high alcohol content beer and make wild proclamations that won't hold true and will embarrass you if anyone quotes you on them by week 14 of the next season.

– Other players have recovered from two major knee injuries in college to forge successful pro careers. Frank Gore had exactly the same experience — suffering ACL injuries to both knees in separate seasons before entering the draft. He’s been one of the most durable players in the NFL since 2005 — despite playing the position that takes the biggest beating. If Gore can make it work, why not Easley?

It's not the injury that makes it a bad deal it's the first rounder on him when he probably would've been there in the 2nd and the Pats still could use a WR like Lee.
