Bad, very bad!
I feel like I dodged a McCarron bullet, even though I didn't like Murray all that much.

There is no way 11 rookies are going to make the Jets but Idzik is so incapable of making a trade that he isn't even leveraging that value haha.

Kinda happy with the Murray pick. Hopefully he just outplays Smith in every level (like a lot of QBs can) and saves us $19 mill

Anthony Hitchens was my favorite player on the last two Iowa teams so that's pretty rad that he got drafted by the Cowboys. I don't think he's gonna make it in the NFL though.

I can recall being broke with some friends in Tennessee and deciding to have a party and being able to afford only two-fifths of a $1.75 bourbon called Two Natural, whose label showed dice coming up 5 and 2. Its taste was memorable. The psychological effect was also notable.

His recruitment was so loving weird. I think his crazy-rear end dad got a rap deal at some point. Iowa fans took the whole thing really personally and were like actively rooting for him to fail too, which was creepy and dumb.

I wasn't rooting for him to fail but I was real goddamn glad when he didn't pick OSU.

AJ McCarron was a good college player who was wildly overrated by the general public and gets wildly underrated here as a result. He was way better than the typical Alabama caretaker QB. He can be a decent backup.
