1994 Hyundai Elantra GLS. Power door locks, power windows, A/C (not hooked up but there),Cruise control Etc. This is the top of the line Elantra available during its generation. This car originally came with a Mitsubishi Based 1.8l DOHC Engine. A lot of work has gone into this car to make it what it is today. Currently it has a Turbo 6 bolt 4G63 out of a first generation turbo DSM.
The engine has been gone through, balance shafts deleted, ARP headstuds installed with a new OEM Mitsu headgasket ETC. It has a rebuilt AWD 91 Talon transmission with a welded center Diff, Steel shift forks and a RIPGRIP Limited Slip in the front diff. The car is currently FWD, but could be converted to AWD with DSM or Evo 1-3 parts. A Fidanza Aluminum FLywheel and an ACT 2600 clutch with a street disc was installed as well. All of the wiring was properly re done for the turbo DSM Ecu integration. Full knock control and a turbo style MAF harness has been cleanly integrated into the car. It has Glanat VR-4 front knuckles with dual piston big brakes installed and braided brake lines. As for the performance side it currently sports a 1g 14b turbo setup using an English Racing hotpipe that was used on their "Little Auto". 3" exhaust with a Magnaflow 3" in dual 2.5" out painted black muffler to keep it low key. A Walbro 255lph fuel pump, -6 Braided feed line with a billet Golan fuel filter, Evo IX 560cc fuel injectors and an HKS VPC/GCC for tuning. The HKS VPC converts the stock MAF system to Speed density. The GCC further exdpands the VPC'c tuning range. HKS turbo timer is installed. 17x7.5 Enkei wheels with brand new tires in the rear and fronts with about 70% life left. I was going to put Drag radials on the front as the car has no traction in first or second gear. The car is currently on Pump gas @ 15 PSI on a Hallman in cab in boost controller. On Race gas @ 27psi the car made 321whp and 275wtq.
This car is not for the faint of heart or inexperienced driver.

Center diff is welded to convert it to fwd since he used an awd trans. Front diff is a limited slip. Similar Fuckery is done with Subaru's to convert them to rwd.

Was really hoping it had an awd conversation, but as is it would seem like a fun hooning car, useless for everything else I suppose, but would definitely make a few people scratch their heads and think "WTF?"

well with a Phantom if you re-spring and/or shim the hell out of it it works reasonably well (2 wheel burnouts) but it's tricky to get one set up to give you 'real LSD' performance without either exploding or severely compromising the ability to turn. Every high-power FWD should have a helical/Torsen LSD though it just makes so much more sense, especially given that an OBX (with the non-lovely belleville washer upgrade, which turns them from a time bomb into a decent diff) is only a couple hundred more than a Phantom.
