Their first quarter financial results come out tomorrow, this should be the first quarter without significant tax credit sales, so we'll get an idea of how profitable their $90,000 car really is before we start fantasizing about a $30,000 car.

Also, will the range on the E be completely neutered? The S would work for me, as I drive about 110 miles per day, but none of the other pure electrics out there have a hope in hell of making that commute. My money is on it being much closer to the 80-90 mile range cars, which would make it a non-starter for me.

If they kept the range, axed the power and luxury, it'd be a perfectly good car, I think.

Isn't 2015 too soon for their new economy car? They showed off Model X years ago and it's still not out. I'd expect that if anything, this would be the next step for them. As I recall, SUVs are being sold at ridiculous average prices so they'd be able to better absorb the electric premium and would make perfect step as an intermediary step.

Dude seems a little old to be struggling so hard to justify driving a shitbox, and dubbing nu-metal over street racing videos against mustangs.

A 374whp regal is pretty awesome, but he claims it runs mid 11s when the only video of him on a drag strip with it is running high 13s.

Edit: Yep. Awesome, though I feel Freiburger's pain with that fender.

It's the one thing that sucks about electrics, where the people who live far enough away to actually see a real economic benefit from switching, can't do so unless their workplace installs charging on-site as well. I'd have a Leaf already if there was so much as a single 120V outlet I could plug into at work.

I was hoping this was a car video, not just passive-aggressive whining about stupid jocks and their loud cars. PROTIP: being an obnoxious beta male isn't any better than being an obnoxious alpha male. There's a wacky place in the middle where you can just be a human being.

At least the stuff they're shilling is relevant to the show, and if it means more Freiburger+Finnegan shenanigans, I guess I'm ok with it.

Imitation carbon fiber is always stupid. Hell, actual carbon fiber is stupid in a lot of places where it doesn't save any significant weight or where the part is badly made and therefore heavier than it should be.

But I guess some people want the look without the cost.

Whatever gives these guys more money to do fun stuff is ok with me.

I like learneding too, this is an awesome companion show for roadkill. It would be cool if they could do a weekly show instead of a monthly show, but considering the 5 minute draguar segment took 3 days to film, i can't see it happening.

I think Hot Rod Garage would be a *really* bland show without Freiberger + Finnegan. Dudes have some serious chemistry/charisma, so I'm glad that I get to watch them dick around and be car nerds twice as much now.

I actually like to see some of this product stuff since its a good way to see what's out there. That Lokar linkage is actually the same thing I bought for my GMC, nice to see it in use via pictures not taken with a redneck potato phone.

And more F+F shenanigans are always awesome.
