I was going through the gallery on my phone and noticed these. I don't remember posting them at the time, but if I did they deserve a second airing. I spoke briefly with the owner, I don't remember much about the details. Or any details really. I may have mentioned Rev's bike. I think he was off to a show or something. My thought process: Wow, what is that? Oh boy he's pulling over, I'm gonna go get a better look! Edit - he may have told me a bit of its history, that it was a spoil of war that some soldier back, but I may be remembering another story. gently caress, that's pretty. I'd love to get myself a pre-'45 bike in the next couple of years, I love the old Velocettes and Matchlesses.

Visordown has news of a 'new Matchless' made by the guys that bought out Belstaff and it looks like it's going to be a loving travesty.

Nobody asked for it, but here's a cold fusion powered electro-pneumatic mag-lev motorcycle

With ZTL brakes front and rear! Way of the future, my friends. Way of the future.

That is a very good picture eggyolk. I like your work. ZTL brakes word much better on maglev bikes. Also, her suit looks like the boots and gloves are attached. That's gotta be a pain, when you have to pee.

There'll be a quick-disconnect fusion-powered wireless piss chute in there somewhere, rest assured. Alternatively it's like still suit and all bodily functions get recycled into fusion fuel.

I'm deeply worried that although I've not worked there for 15 years I instantly recognised that as Chiswick High Road at the junction with Dukes Avenue - I used to work like 30 seconds from there.

There's something wrong with your picture. I don't see a Suzuki being demolished in it. 1938 R12 750cc side valve with H-pattern hand shifter. First production motorcycle with hydraulic telescopic forks. That's my dream bike, although I'd like one with the art deco front fender.

I went to Ride Into History yesterday and took bad pictures of cool bikes. Super clean Hawk GT with an F2 front end: '22 Indian Chief Aermacchi Harley 1905 Erie, basically perfect condition Brammo's racing Empulse TTX Dick Mann's BSA/Triumph for the '73 Daytona 200 Harley VR1000 Old AMA Pro bike Honda GP bikes A couple really nice 400 fours Suzuki RE5 Kawi H2 with flatslides and moderately tuned engine CBX Yamaha bike by TupperWare™. I had to explain how hub-center steering worked to an ~80 year old man, to which he replied "Man that's wacky!" Bultaco 360? A local shop's drag bike made from a CX500. Not a platform I would expect, it's not even a turbo one. A Triumph X-75 that was rescued from its crate during Hurricane Andrew and restored. Only has a handful of miles on it. 1913 FN Four One for the Rev, 1969 R60US Bonus hilarious old cop car

I never heard of the project, or if I had I'd long forgotten it. http://www.odd-bike.com/2012/12/harley-davidson-vr1000-thundering.html I like the part about how the street-legal homologation version couldn't pass US emissions, so it was made road-legal for Poland.
