casual poster posted:What's the point of this? Don't you both just play on a full screen where you can see the other player anyways? It's intended to hide his hands and not his side of the screen. In Korean arcades there's a whole weird metagame based around watching and listening to your opponent's inputs, and a lot of high level players respond by using dummy inputs intended as a feint. Some of these players even have sticks with dummy buttons just for the purpose of making an audible "click" from time to time and hoping the opponent reacts to it.

What does that plank in the background do? e. it occurred to me that it might not be plank. Is that a plank in the background? If it's a plank; what does that plank do? CATTASTIC has a new favorite as of 19:48 on May 17, 2014 |

They're 50 yen (50 cents-ish) for a pack from a vending machine outside the restroom sometimes, although the street people who hand out fliers hand them out embedded inside a tissue pack, so while you're out and about you get each one you pass to hand you a bunch which you keep close at hand. Leave it to Japan to find a situation where you can tell a street advertiser that you're going to wipe your rear end with the advertisement they gave you and it's seen as a compliment.
