Holy balls some of you duders take chinagame way too loving seriously. It sounds to me more like you got kicked out for being annoying. It's not like having someone's account entitles anyone to respect you or not call you out for doing dumb things. And really come on like feedz was this bastion of respect and not a super sperg who gave a gently caress about anyone else. This is the guy who wanted to lead wv and wanted to listen to school chat all day long you cannot tell me that he made smart choices. Also feedz was kind of a jerk all the loving time. Fucker never once helped me with anything in wv despite helping to get his position in the first place and was always just "Oh no I can't sell you any certs so you can finish your inner and do dungeons I need all 900 loving certs I'm sitting on just in case" Now if you had talked to grithok and got his account then maybe I'd care about it.

Air Cutter is apparently when you use a skill in a task area to hit fish and then you take these fish and turn them in for prizes  E: I can't do it yet, but I'll take screenshots. There's only specific times the event happens and they're all EU/US TZ.

So it's been quite a while since I actually played this game (I hopped in a month or two ago for a day and Goontang was basically dead). I do want to give this game a shot and I qualify for the Hermit Hero reward so that should help me to catch up a bit. Are goons active at all? Back when I played we were pretty much TPing daily and doing school events and goonballs constantly. Is this not the case anymore? Last time I logged in a goon suggested I join some other guild that has absorbed some goons and was much more active. I want to play but I definitely don't want to be logging in to an empty mumble and standing around doing nothing for hours. I'm sure the game is definitely not as populated/active as it was when I was playing but I want to try to get the best out of it. What's the status on all of this?

Goontangclan as a guild is pretty active, our mumble isn't so we hang out on the former shinobi team speak and do shenanigans with notrabbu, ressurection and whoever else we feel like. Goonballing is pretty much impossible since the shelves now teleport every few minutes, but we still form massive raids on popular script days. Goontangclan is the first clan on the server to deploy an elephant for: script stealing, guild wars and of course fraud.

There are over twenty people active during prime time although some of them are probably chinagame and ironchef doing their part in the cart wars. Defenitely not as active as it was during its heyday but this is all around on the game do to in no small part constant fuckery by snail. Its not a bad time to return to the game though. A lot of non poop sockers took a big hit to join the new factions. The pills and mentoring can help you get back into the game if you want to stick to your school. If you want to go jianghu factions you can use them to unlock meridians. The economy is hosed right and it'll be really hard for you to get money if you cant be there for dark traffiking powerhours but if you can then it'll probably be better than before. Things are much cheaper than they were when I quit and they seem to keep dropping in price. Traffiking can make you more money than before if you only played a while a day during prime time.

One thing to remember is that you can kidnap in any scene for unbound from 20:00 to 24:00. So you can still get a tiny bit, even if the city the human trafficker is in that day gets cleaned out in minutes. This kidnapping change is a free economics lesson in why deflation is a bad thing.

I wasn't angry at him for screwing up the raid - in fact, I kinda felt sorry for him - but I also thought that it'd be kind of funny if he got a title for something this superficial. And since nobody was actually idiotic enough to do that, I decided to take the matter into my own hands.  I'd like to say I've gotten better at money management since then, but...uh, I really can't.

Speed up is going for less an 1% of its peak price, you can get it on the market for 350L, I sold one in Alliance for 100L after getting the RE.

The economy is always kinda in a mess, but because wushu doesn't really have reasonable money creation or meatsinks. Think about the source of monies in wushu. Where do you get a ding. You can either: A. Kidnap during the restricted times for, like, 15 liang tops. B. open credit cards and get lucky after hours. C. buy it from snail at a horrible price. That's where money comes from, which isn't too bad in a vaccum, but the issue is where money goes. You lose money as it's gifted to NPC for quests and quests and quests. You buy minor buffs in exploring jianghu for 1 liang each or from the tornado event right now OR from fog, praying takes 20 liang, upgrading equipment costs items you have to buy with unbound liang, a lot of it. Posession will give you red armor if you buy items for unbound. So much liang is burned through normal usage that is literally vanished into nothingness. Because there's so few outlets that the game will give you unbound liang, and so many important outlets for where unbound liang goes, people want to try to make money from scarcity of products which nobody can do because people can't get the money in the first place. The economy was always a mess, but because one of the only real reliable sources of income (kidnapping) dropped how often you can do it, people are trying to raise their prices hoping to cover their problems acting like it will help when they're just reducing the velocity of money SO MUCH that nobody can buy anything. I THINK this is a good summary, someone else want to throw in to the mix? Edit: Note, I'm not talking about where you lose money, like you buy a tai-chi fragment. That's you buying an item worth whatever and them getting however much money which is okay. I'm talking about where money is deleted from the game.

Essentially the gold sinks remain the same (and aren't going to change) but the creation of Liang has been decimated. There were some interesting items that dropped from the Tang school assassination the other day, they (apparently) lower the line upgrade costs of certain items - lower tiers by 8 Liang, 7, 6, 5 etc as you go up in the tiers. I want to say Branch Breaking Yarn and Hundred Hit Metal?

From what limited time I had with the new patch, these new schools and vagabonds make being a new player or returning player pretty easy. I still can't believe they keep opening new servers though.

Opening a new server for people to get a foothold in the game would be a neat idea if the server slowly opened everything over a 6 month or so period and then they merged it into the main server when major expansions hit to open new ones. However, this would mean actually merging all the old servers together which they still won't loving do

Then tides of teleporting non-VIP kidnap bots started selling the entire world into prostitution 24/7, that stopped when they made kidnapping VIP only. Then groups of regular VIP kidnap bots, that stopped when they made kidnapping before 2200 only give bound, which also sort of poo poo on everyone else's income in the process. So now the only ways of getting unbound are about three hours of kidnapping a day and literal scratch cards, neither of which give a lot of money, and buying taels. And money sinks multiplied like ten times over in the process. Snail doesn't really understand/like their game.

Kidnapping should be a sort of x amount times allowed to kidnap a day instead of the current "only during these hours" deal. I know that they want to force everyone into a single zone and time to foment pvping and murdering of bots trying to deliver but this ultimately fucks up more people than it helps. e-Or hell, do it like factions do their events now days. You register to take place in a mass kidnapping event and go balls out kidnapping everyone in a town. The event takes place several times a day but you can only register once, so if you already did it you can just pvp them if you want.
