One of the guys in the first match seemed to have a vague idea of the grapple controls, because he was able to transition ground positions (which are done by quarter-circles or 3/8ths circles on the right stick).

I usually don't like to go against the grain of things, but the novelty of the mystery tournament has really worn off for me. I just want to watch people playing actual fighting games at a fighting game tournament, and not people mashing in some obscure PSX fighting game they've ever played before.

Well AE top 16 are played on the secondary stream so there's something for everyone.
