That seems like a weird thing to be picky about. Is there even that much variety there?

Even LeMons drills into people's heads: NO PLASTIC EXTINGUISHER MOUNTS A non-$20 non-kitchen extinguisher probably comes with a metal bracket, but this one is the best by far, and its NASA approved.

Yea, I got a little poo poo from tech once because my extinguisher was mounted just out of my reach when I'm belted in and I'm thinking to myself. I'm loving abandoning this car so fast if there is a fire.

Do people still buy halon units of eBay/internet? Anything wrong with that? I've dealt with parting out an engine fire car that was put out with dry chem and it really really really sucked. And smelled bad.

They suck outdoors. You're screwed if it's windy. At least with dry chem you have a chance. The only place I'd put Halon on a car would be an under hood suppression system.

In this post I will repost my month in Instagrams (skipping personal junk). Engine in the S30. Washed the SF5. Did turbo manifolds. Rich and I worked on our bikes. I did more welding. Bought parts for the Mustang. Did more welding. Dan Brockett's car came in needing some work done. Did more welding. Went for a ride, found out my bars are crooked. Did more welding. Some nice cars came in. Did more welding. Parked my car next to another one. (This week) Ate some snacks. Drove the Mustang. Burned my hand. (Today) Made a swirl pot idea in to reality. Drove a FD car. Tried on my new helmet.

Really like that swirl pot! Where did you get the rad cap fitting? If I design one, will you weld it?

My car was going to be painted on Disney property as part of a show and they have a contract with Chevy. No Fords allowed, even more so no Mustangs!

UF really is a great photog. Its not the equipment its the user. Some people can even make phone pictures look amazing just by knowing how light works and having that good eye for composition.

Some junk on the SN95. Dropped the axle to install Summit Racing upper and lower arms and to install twin rear calipers. Rich and I are getting really good at dropping the 8.8. I currently have a lung infection so not a lot of pictures. Today I coughed up something bloody and I should really see a doctor tomorrow. Anyway, I got this done. (This is actually another night in these photos!) My Mustang is really slammed but it looks too loving high and it drives me crazy. The rear diff is maybe an inch from coming through the floor. I am hoping it will self clearance when I go lower. Rich's truck has the same wheels. I need to notch his frame when I get better, he's currently riding frame on the axle himself.

Ferremit posted:Hell yeah, The Nifty 50 takes photos sharp enough to cut yourself on. God yes it does. Unfortunately I got rid of mine - when I upgraded to a newer camera body, I lost the in-body focus motor ( Nikon). I'd been wanting something a bit wider anyway, so I went with the 35mm f/1.8 AF-S instead of the 50mm AF-S. Still takes drat sharp photos. I may snag another Nifty Fifty again when I have a little cash burning a hole in my pocket, but the AF-S version is about $200 (I snagged the 35, used, for about $125).
