Earlier today it said "Ubisoft Servers not available", while in the smartphone menu which was nice. Later it instantly told me to "Check my NAT type." when asking for targets. The latter is apparently now showing up for other people as well. (And for the record, I played with PPoE which works against NAT bitching in any other NAT bitching game.) PC? It seems like all the console versions are working by-and-large, but I still haven't been able to get into one game yet. Really sucks because I absolutely love the idea of the multiplayer

Anyone playing this on 360? Thinking about grabbing it from Redbox at some point since the PC release seems to be full of typical Ubisoft bullshit. Just would like to know how it compares/stands up to the PC/next gen versions, since I already know a couple features got cut from the PS3/360 versions. Hopefully I'm right that they won't be missed.

I don't know if this has already been discussed or whatevs, but I figured I'd go ahead and post about it since it was driving me up the wall. If you are a PS4 user and have the Season Pass, but still can't access any of the day-1 content, it is available on the Playstation store. You just have to search for it. Go to Games > New > Add-Ons, and then use the "search for more add-ons" button on the far-right. The Untouchables pack and Conspiracy! Digital trip are both up and ready to download (Untouchables is two separate downloads for some reason). If you have the Season Pass, you won't have to pay for them. Note: as far as I can't tell, this stuff still isn't showing up in the Download menu in the game itself.

Another quick question. How do you exit out of a multiplayer mode on the PS4 after a match ends, instead of automatically going to the next one? I had to resort to pausing and manually quitting after a match started because I couldn't find a way to quit.

Man, I am loving invasion. I love it when my enemies freak the gently caress out and start shooting. I was hacking a guy and hiding ontop of a forklift, and he started shooting eveyrone, so the cops came rushing it. I have front row seats as this guy gets in a running gun battle, running underneath the forklift like 8 times. It was great.

I had one like this, 5 cars total. Had to do it a few times till I got it right and got a little lucky. Trapped the convoy in an alley, made them take cover, picking off enough guards around the 1st target till it was safe for a takedown. Repeat with the last. The alley was the key - prevented the guards from flanking and the targets from running away. Pain in the rear end.

Playlist editor is at the bottom of your smartphone menu (Media App), shooting out tires/blowing up steampipes/causing traffic accidents/straight-up crashing into the target vehicle are the tickets to getting convoy targets out of the car to knock down.

Lay down some IEDs (in case you get an opportunity to blow something up without harming the target) and take cover. Shoot out the target's tires and it's a straight gunfight from there until there's nobody else left.

God drat. My last tailing mission set my down 1500m (As the crow flies, it ended up being quite a bit longer when navigating through streets) from the target, who was waiting for me on a deserted island. It turned into The Most Dangerous Game pretty quickly.

bunnyofdoom posted:Pretty much the same thing happened again. I love that you are hiding on intractable items, because if anything that should make them even MORE likely to find you. As for the stupidity, Possibly? It seems at least when you are in a vehicle it can be hard as balls to get your Profiler to agree with you "Come on game, I know the fire truck following me around/evading me while staying just out of carjack reach when I'm on foot is the hacker. ID THE loving DRIVER ALREADY " It finally ID'd them at like 99 loving percent, in the fire truck. Mother fucker. In hindsight I probably should have shot my pistol at them, or drove cars into them, or anything. But come on man. In other cases, I can park a black pickup truck in the dirt by a building in "press circle to hide" and they will walk past me several times without doing anything about me, which I write off as "it won't let him ID me as the hacker"... Until he doesn't react to me panicing and driving away when he was reaching carjack distance, and then scooting back to where I was parked in the first place I have not played very much yet, and I've only hacked few times (half those times it didn't connect to anyone). But both times I've been hacked (I'm assuming the first one out in the obvious open was a tutorial NPC) have been cockblocks in their timing. "And now to enter my safehouse and lose this heat*bumps into door* Oh I'm being hacked." "And now that I've followed the glowy line to the unlock box, now to go back to the first point and finish this privacy invasio-oh, I can't because I'm being hacked. So much for hacks not happening during a mission?" That second guy I just said gently caress it to looking for them and just rage drove across town opening bridges behind me, they abandoned the hack and lost 33 infamy or whatever, but the damage to my time had been done. Still, if you are fast enough before they can do they oh so hard task of pressing down on the D-pad to initialize it looks like you can just flat out get away. You don't get any points that way, but still. EDIT: Speaking of mushy controls, I'm starting to think this game's cover system is actively trying to kill me. "Okay, time to switch sides of the door I am taking cover on-no what are you doing do not make a how-do-I-abort-this jog halfway across a room full of gun toting gang bangers to hug a table." Or learning that double tapping Circle in an attempting to vault out of the lift and takedown a gang member, instead resulted in him doing a leaping pullup to the next floor of the construction sight, as the gangster shoots me in the balls on the way up. Though at least knowing I can just climb construction sites like a ladder may come in handy later. Section Z fucked around with this message at 04:51 on May 30, 2014 |

Section Z posted:(I'm assuming the first one out in the obvious open was a tutorial NPC) If the first invasion you got was by a dude named "2XheadTAP" some something along those lines, he's an NPC. The game's pretty good about sneaking players in when you're in an appropriate place though. I think I had one other NPC invade me at one point but they had an odd French name and I only thought so because they never showed up on my friendlist after I ditched them like a hot pistol in the river. And if someone ragequits your game, you gain points from it. So don't bitch about TIME LOST or something, you're probably 100-200 points closer to getting a notoriety skill unlocked. And ctOS towers and servers are definitely NOT "missions" unless you're referring to the very first one, which is prior to your being able to get invaded due to plot limitations. I very very commonly get invaded while working out ctOS puzzles, and they're super risky as well since there're so many cameras around to spot you while your invader is well outside of LOS.
